With all the luxuries of a resort, all you need to bring are personal items and your favorite snacks and drinks. The floor to ceiling window invites guests to marvel at the sights and sounds of nature. ![]() While all the above amenities make for a relaxing stay, my favorite feature is the expansive viewing window overlooking the lush forest. ![]() These geodomes were the first in the United States to feature indoor plumbing, HVAC, and electricity, which make guests experience a more comfortable and luxurious stay. The geodomes have all the comforts of home, including a king-size bed, dining table and chairs for two, a couch, kitchenettes with retro-style appliances (refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and a place setting for two), custom bathrooms, electricity, air-conditioning, heat, gas fireplace and Wi-Fi. Private outdoor seating on the attached deck is a bonus spot to watch the local wildlife and to be immersed in nature. Each geodome is situated on the property to maximize privacy. ![]() The property's three luxury geodomes are named after gemstones: Garnet, Moonstone and Peridot. The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls' geodomes feature more than 700 square feet of interior space and at the highest point, 14 feet ceilings. You might be asking yourself what's a geodome? A geodesic dome is a spherical structure comprised of a complex network of triangles, which equals fewer building materials without sacrificing a strong structure.
